In mom’s pearls. She’s a performance artist. Peter told me he once posed her in these curtains. I asked him to show me how he posed her.

Mirror, Mirror, 2014
Korakrit Arunanonchai, a New York artist raised in Bangkok, was ruminating on natural catastrophes when I met him during the installation of his window display space at MoMA. Arunanonchai, who currently has a solo show at MoMA P.S.1, has created a pair of dioramas resembling eyes, through which one can view architectural details of the temple Wat Rong Kun (White Temple), in Northern Thailand made by famed Thai artist (and regular Thailand’s Got Talent judge) Chalermchai Kositpipat. The temple’s near-psychedelic stylings and excessive aesthetics are framed by glittery fake flowers and patterned mirrors. Arunanonchai was reeling from the news that the actual temple was damaged in an earthquake in Thailand this week. The temple has since been closed indefinitely and Kositpipat plans to demolish it. - Laura McLean Ferris, I-D Magazine. http://bit.ly/1lz4I23
